About Me
Hello, I'm Fiodar Ryzhykau
Originally from Belarus in Eastern Europe, I'm now based inSeattle, USA. The Pacific Northwest's stunning landscapes, from Mount Rainier to the coastline, continue to inspire my appreciation for elegant solutions and clean design.
I began my career as a Software Engineer, diving deep into code, systems, and problem-solving. Over time I moved intoengineering leadership, and my work shifted from building software to building the teams and organizations that build it.
Today I work where those two meet: how engineering organizations change whenAI takes on more of the work. What stays human, what gets automated, and how teams keep learning when implementation gets cheap. I write about it on theblog.
"I build on what's real and explore beyond what seems possible."
Professional Core Values
Create What Matters
Plenty of software gets built because it can be. The work worth years of your life is the kind someone would miss if it disappeared.
Be Real
Straight answers build working relationships faster than careful ones. Collaboration gets easy when a yes and a no both mean something.
Living the Future Dream
I would rather live in the future than forecast it. Working that way early is uncomfortable, and it teaches what predictions cannot.
